Alejandro Sanz, the Spanish artist who has earned music’s most important awards, announces the first dates of #LaGira in the United States.
The U.S. dates will be the first international stops of #LaGira, where Alejandro Sanz will perform his greatest hits and songs from his new album #ElDisco, scheduled to be released April 5th. From this upcoming album, three singles have been released: “No Tengo Nada”, “Back in the City” feat. Nicky Jam and “Mi Persona Favorita” with Camila Cabello which coincides with the release date of #ElDisco.
As part of #LaGira, Sanz will tour CHICAGO, NEW YORK, ORLANDO, MIAMI, DALLAS, EL PASO, McALLEN, HOUSTON, SAN DIEGO, LOS ANGELES, PHOENIX and SAN JOSE.
Tickets for the U.S. dates go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 5 at 10am local time at LiveNation.com. Citi is the official presale credit card for the #LaGira tour. #LaGira will kick off in Spain, where Sanz sold out, in record time, the first dates of his new tour: SEVILLA (June 1st, Estadio Benito Villamarín), BARCELONA (June 8th, RCDE Stadium), MADRID (June 15, Wanda Metropolitano) and ELCHE (June 21st, Estadio Martínez Valero) closing in SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA (July 6th, Monte do Gozo) making him the first Spanish artist to perform and sell out tickets in the Wanda Metropolitano, and the only national artist selling out 4 stadium shows.
His international contribution to music and culture has earned him multiple Grammys (3) and Latin Grammys (20), and Doctor Honoris Causa from the prestigious University of Berklee (Boston, USA). He has received the Fine Arts Merit Gold Medal, awarded by the Spanish Ministry of Culture, the Vision Award granted by the White House through the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, ASCAP Award and Person of the Year 2017 from the Latin Recording Academy ® for his art and his important philanthropic contributions to organizations such as “Médicos Sin Fronteras,” “Save the Children,” “Greenpeace” and others.
