Amazon Music announced today the launch of new voice features that enable enhanced streaming personalization for customers. Listeners can effectively converse with Alexa to find playlists and moods for various occasions, identify songs by lyrics, etc., all via complex voice commands. The changes should allow more complex vocal communication with Alexa in ways that improve the streaming experience.
The new features will become available to Prime Music and Amazon Music Unlimited customers in the US for Echo devices and the iOS and Android Amazon Music apps. Listeners can enable the new features by saying:
‘Alexa, play music’
This command will prompt a more personalized Alexa response that incorporates newly launched features. Alexa will proceed to ask more complex questions, and users can also tell Alexa what they like or dislike.
