Core Communicators Broadcasting Promotes Doc Love to New Position

Core Communicators Broadcasting announced today that company President Steve Hegwood has promoted the seasoned Operations Manager Doc Love to the new position of Program Director, effective immediately.

He will continue to report to Steve Hegwood, President of Core Communicators Broadcasting.

In his new role, Love will oversee Streetz 103.3/100.5 Charlotte,NC  and Streetz 87.7 Norfolk,VA.

Love has logged over 25 years in the radio industry. He started St. Louis for KMJM, Majic 108 & 100.3 The Beat. Doc served as Program Director from (1999- 2005) at WKKV V-100 Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In (2016), Love joined Core Communicators Broadcasting as Operations Manager.

“Doc has proven experience to execute the Streetz brand over the past two years, I am proud to promote him to oversee these two very important markets”, said Steve Hegwood (President/CEO).

“I’m excited to have the opportunity to continue to build the Core Communicators Broadcasting brand,” said Love. “I feel that my previous experience in radio has helped me prepare to take on such an important role as this one. I look forward to grooming new, up and coming talent.”
