The launch popped on Thursday, November 29th with a party that was hosted by celebrated rapper Joey Bada$$ and his DJ/Producer Powers Pleasant.
The temporary space, which Diplomacy says “might best be described as industrial disco” is located on the southern edge of Soho at 323 Canal Street between Mercer and Greene. It features the fresh designs of Creative Director Eric Archibald and highlight the work of The Lineage Project, an organization that brings mindfulness programs to incarcerated, homeless, and academically vulnerable youth.
“We feel The Lineage Project aligns really well with the diplomatic ethos at the core of our brand. We look forward to helping them build a larger platform upon which to carry out their noble mission,” explained Jeff Fagen, the CEO of Diplomacy.
Store Hours: Friday and Saturday 12-8; Sunday 12-6
About Diplomacy from the brand itself: “Diplomacy makes clothes to live by. Clothes with meaning behind the threads. We call it thought-wear. It is our desire to remind the world of the long-lost art of Diplomacy, to champion the practice of thoughtfulness, tact, and civility that is the ethos behind our brand.”
