G Herbro Releasing a Six “Song Pack” for His 21st Birthday

_d__0143Hip Hop MC G Herbo is painting the most vivid pictures of young street life in America through his music. His underground sounds will now come to the surface with the release of his six “song pack”, The Road to Humble Beast in October when he will become 21 years old. Herbo’s first song from this project “Pull Up” which was leaked has already received over 700,000 YouTube Views within days and its still climbing. This year, he has earned a spot on the coveted 2016 XXL Freshman list.

Hip Hop heads have known him since he was known as Lil Herb, when he joined with Lil Bibby on the 2012 hit “Kill Shit”, a viral hit that had Drake declare the duo “the future.” His debut mixtape, Welcome to Fazoland, was released on February 17, 2014. On the birthday and in honor of Fazon Robinson, one of the first of Herb’s friends to be killed by gun violence in Chicago. Welcome to Fazoland was met with broad critical acclaim, with Fader commenting that, “since drill rose to prominence a few years ago, lyrical bankruptcy has remained one of its most common critiques; Herb’s way with words defies the stereotype. By the end of the year he collaborated with Nicki Minaj on the track “Chiraq,” and 2015 saw him drop the mixtape Ballin’ Like I’m Kobe. He also contributed to Common’s “The Neighborhood” on his album, Nobody’s Smiling. G Herbo also recorded “Fight or Flight (Remix)” with Chance The Rapper and Common.

After numerous offers from major companies, G Herbo has decided to do it his way. He educated himself, learned the business and with the help of Joseph “JB” Bowden formed the independent Machine Entertainment Group. His team mainly consists of women coupled with a few good men.
