iHeartMedia Wichita Names Don Pollnow Market President

iHeartMedia announced today that Don Pollnow has been named Market President, effective immediately. iHeartMedia Wichita has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing four stations comprised of Country, Contemporary Hit Radio, Alternative and Soft Adult Contemporary formats.  

iHeartMedia has the leading consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and delivers more live programming than any other media company. As Market President, Pollnow will be responsible for leveraging iHeartMedia Wichita’s radio station brands and assets to provide quality programming as well as creating new revenue opportunities. In , he will lead all aspects of the market’s operations including sales, programming, digital, events and promotion initiatives. Pollnow will report to Taylor Walet, Region President for iHeartMedia Omaha.

Pollnow joins iHeartMedia Wichita from , where he most recently served as Vice President and Market Manager in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He also previously held successful general management positions for leading markets in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Little Rock, Arkansas; Topeka, Kansas and Stevens Point in Wausau, Wisconsin. Pollnow began his radio career as an account executive for KMGA in Albuquerque, New Mexico and is a graduate of in Missouri.
