iHeartMedia’s Chicago Region Names New Vice President of Automotive

’s Chicago Region announced today that Steve Vicenteno has been named of Automotive, effective immediately. The iHeartMedia Chicago Region has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing stations comprised of CHR, AC, Hip Hop and R&B, New Country and Contemporary Inspirational music formats.

iHeartMedia has the leading consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and more live programming than any other media company. As Vice President of Automotive, Vicenteno will be responsible for overseeing automotive sales opportunities for the Chicago region that deliver a strong return on investment for clients reaching consumers through iHeartMedia’s unmatched assets, including on-air, online, social media, personalities and live events. He will report to Adam Kurtz, Senior Vice President of Sales for iHeartMedia’s Chicago Region.

“Steve has a successful results-driven track record,” said Matt Scarano, President of iHeartMedia’s Chicago Region. “His automotive sales management expertise will be a tremendous asset to our region.”

Most recently, Vicenteno served as Sales Director for Chicago Tribune Media Group where he held various sales and account management positions during his tenure with the company. A Chicago native, he also previously worked at CareerBuilder and Hoy Publishing in media sales before joining the Chicago Tribune Media Group in 2012. He is graduate of Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin.
