Brooklyn Bred MC and powerhouse Kota the Friend embarks on his 24-city tour. Produced by FLTBYS, the incomparable music experience will commence August 1 in Providence, RI and end in Denver, CO on September 8. Recently releasing his critically acclaimed debut album FOTO, the independent musician is excited to be able to perform this vulnerable body across the US with fans.  With much expectation,RollingStone Magazine noting “the independent Brooklyn rapper — who’s quickly gaining a robust audience…” and DJBooth even citing that “KOTA the Friend has a heart as golden as his rap name. At 26, the Brooklyn-born, Manhattan-based rapper has a string of impressive singles, three moving EPs, and a debut album all under his belt. His jazz and soul-rooted stylings are prolific in delivery and methodical in approach “—the Mellow-yet- swift rapper has nothing to worry about.

With influences of artists like Common, Mos Def and maybe even a bit of Lauryn Hill, his per usual sold-out electrifying live performance is guaranteed to capture your attention alongside his fiercely exploratory, socially progressive lyrics. Stay tuned for more news and European dates coming soon.
