Today, Lennon Stella has released the official video for “BITCH (takes one to know one)”
Directed by Drew Kirsch with a cameo by Maddie Ziegler, the visual follows Lennon through a party scene that culminates in her leaving a toxic relationship in the dust. “BITCH” is the latest offering from Lennon, which UPROXX declares “a celebration of female solidarity” and Idolator calls a “fiery bop.”
Lennon says: “This song is the idea that when a guy calls a girl a bitch, she stands up for herself and calls him one right back. It’s about girl power, and I wanted the video to reflect that. I can’t tell you how excited I am to have it out! Hope you like it.”
Lennon kicked off her first ever North American headline tour this week with two sold-out shows at Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall. The 18-date run will see Lennon perform to packed audiences in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and more before concluding in Vancouver, BC on April 11. Following the Love, me Tour, Lennon will join Anne-Marie as a special guest on the singer/songwriter’s trek across the UK and Europe this spring.
