With T.I. playing master of ceremonies for the evening, the Trap Music Museum Magic City event brought out a bevy of celebrities including the rapper’s wife TinyJeezy, Justin Combs, Mac WildsWinnie Harlow, Lil Durk, Ballers (HBO) stars Donovan Carter and Kris Lofton, Eddie Drummond of the Detroit Lions, and rappers YNW Melly, Yung Mal, and Shad Da God.

After emerging as Atlanta’s newest tourist attraction last fall, The Trap Music Museum, closed in November to update with new exhibits. The Museum‘s doors re-opened on Sunday, January 27th remaining open through Super Bowl Sunday, both in celebration of the grand re-opening and to accommodate the influx of people visiting Atlanta last week.

Along with original exhibits dedicated to Trap Music trendsetters including 2 Chainz and Rick Ross, the revamped Trap Music Museum features new installations dedicated to Juicy J, Kevin Gates and Kodak Black. In addition, the previous sections dedicated to 21 Savage, Pusha T and Trae The Truth have been expanded, as has the Museum’s Escape Room experience, which will be offering visitors a 60-minute experience in addition to the 30-minute experience offered during the Museum’s original run.

The Trap Music Museum is located at 630 Travis St. NW in Atlanta and is open to the public every Friday-Sunday. With the Museum now reopened, the space’s curators now have their eyes set on a series of pop-up activations across the country through the end of 2019.
