Last night, May 21, The Breakfast Club’s Angela Yee and The Sean Hannity Show’sExecutive Producer Lynda McLaughlin were honored at The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation’s 44^th annual Gracie Awards.  Yee was honored in the National Radio Host/Personality category, and McLaughlin took home the award for National Talk Radio Producer. The annual gala recognizing exemplary programming created by women, for women and about women in all facets of media and entertainment was held at the Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles. Westwood One News is on an award-winning streak with another honor for its exceptional reporting. Westwood One News correspondent Jim Roope and the Westwood One News team won a Deadline Club Award for best “Radio or Audio Feature Reporting.” The award honors Jim’s 2018 report “Las Vegas: Remembering and Healing,” where he returned to Las Vegas one year after the deadly mass shooting and spoke with the community and the victims about how they were remembering, coping, and healing. The Deadline Club Award is bestowed by the NY Society of Professional Journalists for reporting across all media platforms, including newspapers, magazines, radio, digital, and TV.
