Today, critically acclaimed, buzzing LA-based, New York-born rock band The Score- Eddie Anthony and Edan Dover-release the official music video for their hit song “Stay” via Republic Records.
On the video Eddie Anthony notes: “As a Mexican-American raised in Southern California I have always had an interest and respect for the luchadores. These men and women display such fearlessness and athleticism and they do it without the hope for financial reward, it’s all about the glory of the sport and desire to show people what you are made of.”
The video features real life Luchadores from Mexico City and pays homage to those who work to transform into something bigger than themselves while staying true to who they are.
“Stay” has established itself as a powerhouse of a single, already racking up over 17 million streams online and counting. On the song the band noted: ‘Stay’ is our most vulnerable song to date. It’s about staying true to yourself and not trying to change who you are, even when you feel insecure and unsure of yourself.”
The Score recently wrapped up yet another completely sold out North American, European & Asian headline tour, this time in support of the Pressure EP. Stops included a sold-out night at London’s Camden Assemblythis past weekend, The Troubadour in Los Angeles and The Knitting Factory in Brooklyn. So far, the latter’s cumulative stream tally surpasses 120 million across “Glory,” “Stronger,” and latest banger “Dreamin” [feat.Blackbear].
New York-born and Los Angeles-based duo The Score stand out as a fiery genre-defying phenomenon, incinerating the lines between rock, pop, indie, and electronic. Powered by ubiquitous anthems such as “Oh My Love,” “Legend,” and “Unstoppable,” the boys have racked up nearly 1.4 Billion cumulative streams worldwide over the course of two EPs—Unstoppable and Myths & Legends—and a 2017 full-length debut, ATLAS.
