Those were the famous words we heard as astronaut Neil Armstrong touched down on the surface of the moon on July 20, 1969. The lunar landing was one of the most challenging endeavors ever launched. With millions of people glued to their tiny TVs, Armstrong and fellow astronaut Buzz Aldrin bounded across the eerie landscape for more than two hours.
